Jing Li is an assistant professor at Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University in Beijing. He earned his Bachelor's degree from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, and obtained MFA degree in Glass Art from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2012. Li was trained based on materials, and inherited the traditional Venetian glass blowing and sculpting techniques. In the context of contemporary art, He has been exploring how to use glass as a mainly material to express artist’ s idea and concept in various art forms. Li has received multiple art scholarship from Penland School of Crafts, Pittsburgh Glass Center, and The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass. His work was featured in New Glass Review 35 and Art Glass Today 2.

  李静现任教于清华大学美术学院玻璃工作室。2008 年毕业于中央美术学院获学士学位，同年前往美国南伊利诺伊大学玻璃工作室学习，2012 年获艺术学硕士学位。系统接受基于材料的创作训练，学习和继承了意大利传统威尼斯样式的吹制技法。在当代艺术的整体语境下，探索将个人观念以玻璃作为主体材料进行多形式的艺术创作。多次获得彭兰德工艺美学学校, 匹兹堡玻璃艺术中心, 康宁玻璃博物馆等机构艺术基金及奖学金。作为入选美国《 New Glass Review 35 》和《 Art Glass Today 2》。
